Indian chemical company Tata Chemicals is developing nanotechnology-based crop-specific, high-value fertilizers to improve agricultural yields. The article says that company is developing fertilizer with nanoscale particles, so that less fertilizer can be used for greater results. The company’s chief financial officer P.K. Ghose said that initial investments will be used for research and development, with manufacturing starting at a later stage.
