The Nanotechnology Committee of Iran’s Agricultural Jihad Ministry has announced that they will be holding a Nanotechnology and Agriculture Conference in Tehran on November 1, 2006. Nanotechnology Committee member Afshin Ebrahimi said that the seminar will focus on promoting the use of nanotechnology in agriculture. Ebrahimi also said that Iran’s project on producing titanium dioxide nanoparticles for industrial applications will also be discussed.
